People sometimes forget that your wardrobe needs as much love as everything else in your home. Investing in quality pieces ensures longevity, comfort and money saved in the long run.
It's super tempting to want to get those 3 for $20 deals from the store, but you'll benefit in the long run for splurging on some big ticket items that can be used in multiple settings, fit perfectly to your body shape and feel amazing to wear.
Jeans
High quality denim is nearly indestructible. Invest in classic cuts and colours that you can comfortably wear every day; dressing up and down as you need.
Look at brands like Levis (the creator of the jean) and Rag & Bone; these brands ensure you can repurchase the same pair if you find an ultimate fav, keeping classics in stock ALWAYS.
There's nothing worse than finding your fit only for them to be discontinued.
Bras
Anyone who is bigger-busted will already know this but often A-C cup girls forget this.
Go for a bra fitting, find types that work for your body (i.e wire free is supportive for me) and stock up on colours you'll get the most use out of. This generally is white, black and nude. Buying quality bras is not cheap but it's worth it to have something that fits you well, can be worn all day with minimal discomfort, and won't wreck after a few washes.
Also consider investing in a lingerie bag (found in all underwear shops) to safely wash your delicates.

Jackets & Blazers
Instant outfit makers that can be thrown over any outfit.
Leather jackets give texture and clean lines; expensive leather is soft and comfortable compared to cheap stiff remakes.
A good denim jacket will last a lifetime and never go out of style.
Buy blazers in a fit you love (tailored, fitted, boyfriend etc) in multiple colours for an easy dress up.
Shoes
A bit of a double ended stick. Things like slippers, slides and thongs can be skimped on.
Work shoes, sneakers and boots should be splurged on.
Your style changes what shoe to buy but a general overview should include: classic pumps in black or nude, oxford flats (MUCH more support than ballet flats), leather boots, running trainers and casual trainers.
Brands like Tony Bianco or Nine West are great for stylish and comfortable work shoes and boots.
ADIDAS Superstar or Nike AF1 are super comfortable casual sneakers for daily use.
